- The only close-up images of Uranus and its moons were taken by the Voyager 2 spacecraft, during its 1986 flyby.
- Each of the five major Uranian moons is thought to be composed of mainly ice and/or rock.
- Of these five moons,
- Oberon is the outermost.
- Titania is the largest.
- Miranda is both the smallest and the innermost.
