Uranian Moons

Interesting facts
  • The only close-up images of Uranus and its moons were taken by the Voyager 2 spacecraft, during its 1986 flyby.
  • Each of the five major Uranian moons is thought to be composed of mainly ice and/or rock.
  • Of these five moons,
    • Oberon is the outermost.
    • Titania is the largest.
    • Miranda is both the smallest and the innermost.
