Dione

Interesting facts
  • Some areas of Dione’s surface are characterized by ice cliffs resulting from tectonic fracturing.
  • Dione shares its orbit with two other small moons.  One orbits 60 degrees ahead of Dione, while the other trails Dione by an equal amount.
